About the role
We’re looking for an Exams Services Coordinator to join our Exams Services team. Reporting to the Operations Manager - Exam Services, you will support the secure, compliant and efficient delivery of examinations, including onscreen assessments via Surpass, remote invigilation and paper-based exams.
You will apply your knowledge of assessment regulations, technology platforms and qualification frameworks such as T Levels and vocational qualifications, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering a high standard of customer service and professionalism.
What you’ll be doing
You will manage end-to-end exam processes, including scheduling, invigilation arrangements and post-exam activities, ensuring exams are delivered accurately and on time. This includes coordinating onscreen exams, supporting remote invigilation and ensuring technical readiness and regulatory compliance.
You will process reasonable adjustments and special considerations in line with guidance, maintain accurate records in line with GDPR, and uphold the integrity and security of assessment materials. The role also involves supporting audits and investigations, resolving technical issues, responding to centre enquiries and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking someone with experience in a customer-facing role who can manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent service standards. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to build effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident working with data to support planning and delivery. A proactive, solutions-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to take ownership of your work and contribute to ongoing process improvements. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are required.
Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role
It would be advantageous to have an understanding of different assessment methods and experience working within an awarding organisation. Experience assessing reasonable adjustment requests and supporting audits or quality reviews in an academic or assessment setting would also be beneficial, along with strong enquiry-handling and problem-solving skills.

Remote/home based working at Enginuity
Your working hours will be 35 per week, working 9am until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
As a home-based employee you will fulfil your job responsibilities from home. Interactions with work and colleagues will be from a virtual environment. Depending on your role you will be required to either have some occasional travel or UK national travel. This travel will be required to allow you to fulfil different parts of your role and to meet colleagues on a quarterly basis. Other meetings that might require you to travel are events such as all colleague away days, training, and project work. Please review the advert to gain this insight to how much travel is expected. Also, ask at interview stage to confirm the frequency of travel and distance.
The company will provide you with the IT equipment required to carry out your role but it is a requirement that you provide all the necessary facilities for working from home; including broadband, home office, desk and chair.
