Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + car allowance + benefits package
Home based in England, Scotland or Wales with regular international travel
About the role
Reporting to the Global Sales Manager and working closely with the Product and Commercial Growth team, you’ll play a key role in expanding EAL’s international presence and partnerships. You will be responsible for generating sustainable revenue growth, building strategic relationships, and shaping EAL’s approach to market development worldwide. This is a high-impact role for a dynamic professional who can combine long-term strategic planning with hands-on commercial execution.
What you’ll be doing
Market Development & Growth
- Contribute to the development of EAL’s international strategy to drive growth in key global markets.
- Monitor and analyse international market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities in international markets.
- Establish commercial frameworks, pricing models and partnership agreements to maximise profitability.
- Own the international sales pipeline, ensuring sustainable and scalable business growth.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain high-level relationships with key customers, industry bodies, regulatory authorities, and government agencies in international markets.
- Represent EAL at international events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand awareness and credibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to tailor offerings for international markets.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all international business operations comply with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
Reporting & Strategic Alignment:
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Global Sales Manager and senior management on international business performance and market trends.
What we’re looking for
- Significant experience in international business development within the qualifications, awarding or training sector is essential
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in international markets with a focus on revenue growth, profitability and high-quality business development.
- Strategic planning and development of effective sales strategies.
- Experience in implementing tactical sales plans for global markets.
- Proven ability to build, maintain, and manage key international accounts and develop strong client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver compelling presentations in an international setting.

Remote/home based working at Enginuity
Your working hours will be 35 per week, working 9am until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
As a home-based employee you will fulfil your job responsibilities from home. Interactions with work and colleagues will be from a virtual environment. Depending on your role you will be required to either have some occasional travel or UK national travel. This travel will be required to allow you to fulfil different parts of your role and to meet colleagues on a quarterly basis. Other meetings that might require you to travel are events such as all colleague away days, training, and project work. Please review the advert to gain this insight to how much travel is expected. Also, ask at interview stage to confirm the frequency of travel and distance.
The company will provide you with the IT equipment required to carry out your role but it is a requirement that you provide all the necessary facilities for working from home; including broadband, home office, desk and chair.
