Full Time: 35 hours per week
Salary: £39,150 - £43,500 + £4,500 car allowance and benefits package
Home based in England, Scotland or Wales with occasional travel
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Qualification and End Point Assessment Developer (Product Specialist) to join our Product Team. This role is responsible for the development and management of EAL products, ensuring they are produced at the right time and to high quality to maximise their commercial value and they are maintained appropriately throughout their life cycle.
What you’ll be doing
You will be developing and launching new innovative products that are relevant for the market and that meet the required specifications. You will maintain and continually improve a portfolio of existing products throughout their lifecycle. The role will be working closely with other EAL teams, building strong effective relationships to ensure that products and services are launched on time and to budget. You will ensure that the portfolio of products and services have validity and comply with all current regulatory and internal EAL process requirements.
What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone with previous experience of working in qualifications and/or EPA development.
You will have knowledge of qualification design and assessment in the further education sector and related reforms (apprenticeship standards, EPA, T Levels etc). You will have knowledge and experience of different assessment methods and the ability to produce technical documentation.
You will be confident and competent in providing high quality technical support to internal and external customers and able to gather and interpret information and data to a high standard. You will be a proficient user of software packages such as Word, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint.
Other skills which would be desirable however not needed to apply for the role
- Knowledge and experience of EAL’s Key sectors (BSE and Engineering & Manufacturing)
- Previous experience of working in qualifications development and/or delivery
- Knowledge of the qualification funding arena
- Knowledge of the further education sector and related reforms (apprenticeship standards, EPA, T Levels etc)
- An active interest in new and emerging technologies across engineering and manufacturing in areas such as digitalisation, connectivity, data analysis, robotics, materials technology, connectivity and automation.
- Experience of Project Management
- Qualification development experience

Remote/home based working at Enginuity
Your working hours will be 35 per week, working 9am until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch.
As a home-based employee you will fulfil your job responsibilities from home. Interactions with work and colleagues will be from a virtual environment. Depending on your role you will be required to either have some occasional travel or UK national travel. This travel will be required to allow you to fulfil different parts of your role and to meet colleagues on a quarterly basis. Other meetings that might require you to travel are events such as all colleague away days, training, and project work. Please review the advert to gain this insight to how much travel is expected. Also, ask at interview stage to confirm the frequency of travel and distance.
The company will provide you with the IT equipment required to carry out your role but it is a requirement that you provide all the necessary facilities for working from home; including broadband, home office, desk and chair.
